County Council updates Armed Services tribute board with three area veterans

Three U.S. service members serving in Afghanistan, Steven Gillon, Daniel Gillon and Timothy Anderlonis, were honored by County Council last week as family members placed their military photos on the county’s Armed Services Tribute Board in the Government Center lobby. County Council recognized them at a brief ceremony attended by (from left) Councilman Thomas McGarrigle, Councilwoman Christine Fizzano Cannon, Councilman Mario Civera, Jr., Council Chairman Jack Whelan, Michael Gillon, Sr., Ashley Redding Gillon and Thomas Anderlonis.

Citizens’ Police Academy graduates 17th class including a 94 year-old
