From parades and picnics to solemn observances, the individuals who made the ultimate sacrifice were honored at Memorial Day events across Delaware County.

Rain did not dampen the spirits of residents who lined the streets to attend parades which featured veterans, emergency services, local groups and organizations.

Solemn ceremonies also took place at American Legion Posts and VFW’s across the county.
