PECO Energy reports that a power outage that happened at 9:15 A.M. affecting 2,400 customers in Glenolden and Folcroft is nearly resolved and should be totally resolved by early afternoon.

PECO spokesman Greg Smore said a piece of aerial equipment failed in the 1500 block of Chester Pike, thus causing the outage that lasted about 2 hours until power was restored to all but 75 customers. he said those customers should be back online by early afternoon as the faulty equipment has been replaced.
