Upper Chichester will hold it’s 17th annual Community Days starting Thursday, August 30th through September 2nd, at Furey Road Fields in Upper Chichester.

The Carnival will open at 6PM on Thursday, August 30th and the famous Mr. Greengenes band will be here for a free concert beginning at 7:30PM. The carnival will continue till Sunday, Sept. 2nd.

On Saturday evening, September 1st, bring your blankets and chairs for a free outdoor movie featuring the hit movie “The Lorax.”

Sunday, September 2nd, is the big day, with a parade starting at noon, traveling down Chichester Avenue to the Fields at Furey Road, where there will be games, rides, music, exhibitions, food, and to top off the evening, a spectatular fireworks show!

This year’s Community Day is dedicated to Upper Chi’s Local Volunteer Firefighters, Fire Police and Police Officers who continue to serve and protect our community. Upper Chichester is appreciative of those men and women who put their lives on the line daily for our residents. A ceremony will take place at 1:30PM on Sunday, Sept. 2nd to honor them.
